Obituary of JR Bugden
James Robert “JR” Bugden, 45, Stellarton, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Robert Stuart Bugden and Freda Falconer. JR was employed with Pictou Shipyards as a sandblaster and painter. He enjoyed working with his hands, especially mechanical work. JR was happiest working in the outdoors or riding his four-wheeler. He enjoyed “sound”, his home and vehicles were always wired for sound. Never idle, JR was always willing to lend a helping hand. Most importantly, he really enjoyed spending time with his son, Jace who he dearly loved. JR will be forever remembered as a kind, loving and generous gentleman.
Surviving are his mother, Freda Falconer, New Glasgow; father, Robert (Leanne) Bugden, Little Harbour; son, Jace Wallace Bugden and his mother, Rachel MacNeil, Trenton; maternal aunts, Margie MacDonald, New Glasgow; Patsy Falconer, New Glasgow; paternal aunt, Kathleen (Russ) Andrews, Little Harbour; paternal uncles, Ronald (Ginny) Bugden, Little Harbour; George A. Koszkulics, Little Harbour; many cousins.
He was predeceased by sister, Ashley Jane Bugden; maternal grandparents, James Frederick and Margaret Jane (Fisher) Falconer; paternal grandparents, Leslie Ronald and Joyce Frances (Reid) Bugden; aunts, Janet Turple and Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Koszkulics.
The family will celebrate his life privately.
