Jim, K-Sisters and families, my thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through the loss of your dear wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. As I write this my mind goes back to my very younger years when Mrs. Wasson tried desperately to teach those of us from Priestville how to sing, and for some try to manage their fingers on the piano. She was a very caring, patient and understanding and never once said we could not do it, even though some of us could not. She has a special place in my heart, back then which continues to this day.
Jim, my heart especially aches for you as I know this marvellous woman was not only the love of your life, she was also mother, nurturer, educator and disciplinarian and not just to your girls but to all the young people she had in her life, back then and I am sure throughout the years. Many of us today would not be the person we are were in not for the guidance and love she showed us.
SHE WILL BE DEARLY REMEMBERED, ALWAYS.
So many hearts
are feeling sadness
because she was here,
because she was loved.
She has left a lasting
love in the hearts of those left behind.
She may be gone from our presence,
but her love will always be with us.
Regretfully, I am not able to be there to give you a hug, but be assured I am hugging you in my heart today and save it until we meet again.

Uncle Jimmy, Kim, Karyn, Kelly and Kathy, I am deeply sorry to hear of Aunt Ivy’s passing. What a beautiful photo of her, just the way I remember her; always happy, and cheerful with a smile on her face. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this difficult time. I fondly remember our yearly visits with all the families when we were young at Nana’s, so many happy memories. Heaven has just received another angel, my sincere condolences.
