To the loved ones of Verlie,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of such a remarkable woman,
Verlie & I met in 2019 when I first started at GHM. I looked forward to seeing her each and every night and hearing her stories about life in Newfoundland. Through conversation we quickly discovered a mutual connection of my late grandmother who was her former neighbour in Autumn Crest. We shared many nights reminiscing my grandmother together.
To say the very least, Verlie was a beautiful soul who will be deeply missed by many. I hope her reunion with her dear Hedley in heaven was as beautiful as she spoke of that “someday” being.
I will keep you all in my prayers. Rest in peace sweet woman.
