So sorry for your loss Aunt Erma and family. One of my fond memories of uncle Junior is having him show up at big island inorder to lend me books to read. I must tell one of my fathers story. Jack and Uncle Junior would go out fishing for the day. My father would say it would take forever driving to the fishing spot but only take 5 to 10 minutes getting back home. And to this day dad still can't find that fishing spot. I will miss you Uncle Junior, may you find a lovely spot in heaven.

My condolences Aunt Erma, Calvin, Jeannette, and Jason. As a kid, there was nothing more exciting than seeing Uncle Bill (Jr.) and his family driving up the driveway to visit Nellie (Bill's mother/my grandmother). Some of the other comments here put it well that he always had a twinkle in his eye and a tidbit of knowledge to share. He also had a great dry sense of humor. I particularly remember that when you asked him a question, he always had a funny response like if you asked how was the water at the beach, his reply was "wet?" or "Where did you get that deer?", his reply was "oh, in the woods." I hope all the wonderful memories you experienced with Uncle Bill will help get you through this difficult time.

Our hearts are filled with tears at the loss of such a gentle and kind soul. Despite his best attempts, I never did manage to change Uncle Junior to Uncle Bill. Subconsciously, I never wanted to lose the wonderful memories I have associated with calling him Uncle Junior. Uncle Junior was a bit of a tease, I remember the mind puzzles he crafted, his eyes would twinkle, he would give a chuckle, and tell me I would not be able to solve this one. He loved stumping us with his puzzles and he would never tell you the answer, you always had to figure it out for yourself. He was a good person and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
