Obituary of Catherine Kellock
TRENTON – Catherine Kellock, 70, Trenton, formerly of Plymouth, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer Friday, November 23, 2012 at home, surrounded by her family.
Born in Inverness, She was a daughter of the late Colin Andrew and Anne Christine (MacDonald) MacDonald. She was a member of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Trenton. Catherine retired from the former Maritime Tel & Tel after 33 years of service. She served on the Aliant (MT&T) Christmas committee and had been a member of the former St. Gregory’s CWL. She loved her family and her pets, Pugs, Duke and Brody.
Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Richard Kellock; sister Mary (Jimmy) MacDonald, Creignish; niece, Dianne (Greg) Campbell, Hatchet Lake; nephew, Colin MacDonald (Mary), Amherst; Brian (Lisa) MacDonald, Enfield; Wayne (Cindy) MacDonald, Judique; many grandnieces and nephews; chosen family, Edgar and Joann MacDonald, Plymouth; Bob Christie, Pictou Landing; Barrie MacKay, Winnipeg.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Trenton with Father Gary MacPherson presiding. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
