Owen we only knew eachother in the drive thru..but you touched my soul with your hospitality and sweet naturethe day you ran outside to help me push my car to the front when I ran out of gas was the sweetest thing and you never forgot me after that! You always made a point to joke with me and share your stories ..I was expecting to see you this morning...but your coworkers gave me the devastating news you were taken from us so soon I cried like a baby for you and your family today and still can't believe your gone. I’m so sorry for your loss! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I had the honour of knowing Owen and he was one of the most amazing and kind hearted people you’d ever you meet. I had a few classes with Owen in high school. One of those classes was Chemistry 11 and Owen and I always partnered up for labs. He never failed to put a smile on my face or make me laugh. My older sister was also in Chemistry with us and Owen was constantly sticking up for me whenever she’d pick on me. I’m incredibly grateful for his friendship. He was an amazing young man with a personality like no other! I have no doubt that Owen’s legacy will live on in his awesome family and all who loved him. I will be doing an act of kindness in memory of Owen and making donations to both Merigomish and Barney’s River fire departments in his memory. Rest Easy Owen.
