There are not enough words to express how sorry I am for your loss. Our entire family was blessed to have known Erv and to have him as part of the family. He was hard working, funny and such a gentle man who loved his family sincerely and whole heartedly. I hope the memories will help you through this difficult time. We were lucky to have Erv as part of our family as he was one the most generous, kind hearted and funny men we knew. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, always had great camp stories/wildlife pictures to share and was the first to come out with the one liners or a joke to keep you smiling. Sending prayers and love from The Butts Family . As kids growing up we all remember Ervin coming down to visit our Dad ( Wayne Butts) He always had a big smile on his face. Dad always thought the world of Ervin.We he come to visit Dad and Ervin would disappear into the barn , what they did in there no one knows. Lol . I know when Dad went in it was a deal being made to sell something or bending an elbow for some kind of drink. Our Dad has been gone for a long time now and we miss him all the time.
