Our sincere condolences to all the family. Frank, and Margaret, were long time friends. We have great memories of times spent with them. They were also great supporters of the band, Ryan's Fancy, when we were touring around Nova Scotia during the 1970s. In later years Irene and I would talk on the phone with Frank and when we visited Montreal we would think about him and send him a postcard to say hello from his hometown. Irene and Fergus

I was so sad to read of Frank's passing. I met him early in job as Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters in the early 80's . He was an avid supporter of Bowl for Millions, now Bowl for Kids Sake. So kind and generous. After he retired I would always see him walking Lucky in the trail and my husband and I would stop and chat. There was always a joke about my live of the Boston Bruins and his of the Montreal Canadians. Sympathies to Susan and the family.

It’s so sad to hear of Frank’s passing. He was a lovely man and a very kind and generous human being. My husband remembers that Frank used to do a lot for the kids at the catholic school on Bridge Avenue in Stellarton, ever Christmas. It made a huge impression on the school children. I’ve had the pleasure of sitting down to a few meals with him at my sister Gloria (and husband Ron) Young’s. He will be greatly missed at that table.

I was so sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. He left an indelible mark on so many people with whom he came in contact, and he was a mentor to many Sobeys employees who used that knowledge to foster wonderful careers in the retail food industry. His St. Patricks’s Day celebrations at King Street for “the girls” were legendary, but were no match for the camaraderie displayed by Frank and Margaret as they hosted and attended many functions over the years. They will both be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing them. RIP Frank - you are now with your beloved Margaret again. Barbara Curry

I met Frank in a parking lot with his handsome dog Lucky in his car . We chatted about Lucky being a rescue dog and I immediately knew Frank was a special person . He was an animal lover and when Lucky died , a major part of Frank died . Being such a dedicated person and companion in the eyes of an animal speaks volumes . Rest In Peace Frank . You were special , kind and caring .
