A. Liz, U. Alger, Fraser, Ireland, Briar, Nancy & Ernest, My lasting memory is the first day A. Liz and U. Alger visited our home in W. Pugwash with Susan; such as beautiful baby girl. Her life, her infectious smile and her caring spirit have been an inspiration to all those who have come to know her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during the events of this week. With deepest sympathy, Janet & Gary Good My life is just a weaving Between my Lord and me. I cannot choose the colors He weaves so skillfully. Sometimes He weaveth sorrow And I in foolish pride Forget He sees the upper And I the underside. Not ‘til the loom is silent And the shuttles cease to fly Will God unroll the canvas And explain the reasons why- The dark threads are as needful, In The Weaver’s skillful hands As the threads of gold and silver In the pattern He has planned. Such special times we had, at Mount Saint Vincent, and weekends in Halifax or Little Harbour. Susan was my truest 'fun' friend. Her laughter rings in my memory after 20 yrs; her beautiful smile is still shining there. It was such a privilege to share that space and time. You never know it then, how sacred and special those pure moments will become to you. I'm so sorry to hear that such a beautiful, happy person had such hard, painful times. I'm confident she rose to the occasion, with her wit and charm, and healed many around her with her loving self. My condolences, so ineffectual, but so heartfelt, to those who remain.

Susan, She was one of the most amazing people I've ever met. Always smiling that radiant smile, always willing to help out when needed. I remember during Grade 8 Maritime Studies class when she was more of a guidance counselor then a teacher, helping us "kids" through hard times, yet we learned so much. My thoughts and prayers are with Susan's family and friends at this hard time. Know that she has left a lasting impression on everyone, and she will never be forgotten.

When I first heard of Susan's passing, my mind immediately conjured up the vision of her smile, as she sat in the GR Saunders office with Beth, dressed in pink, as always. I can hear her calling my daughter,'Punkin', feel her hair on my face as she envelopped me in one of her hugs and see the sparkle in her eyes as she would say we looked 'Fabulous'. She was a FABULOUS lady, full of sparkle, mischief and a massive heart, filled with compassion. Not only will we miss her, but her GR Saunders 'family' will miss her volunteering dedication as well. I met Susan while volunteering at the school. Farewell, Girlie. Here's hoping you are robed in pink, including boa and tiara, eating chocolate and sipping some yummy cocktail right now. I will think of you often and very fondly, Susie Q. With much love, Cindy XO
