Obituary of Keith Allan Tugwell
PLYMOUTH – Keith Allan Tugwell, 49, Plymouth, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 after a brief, courageous battle with cancer in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Toronto, Ont., he was a son of the late Kenneth Bruce Tugwell and Lois Irene (Niven) Watters. Keith was employed with Advocate Printing, Pictou. He enjoyed carpentry, being outdoors fishing, swimming and riding his motorcycle. Keith was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Surviving are his daughter, Amy Lawrence (Chris Parsons), New Glasgow; grandchildren, Madison and Marcel, New Glasgow; sister, Lynne (Joe) DiPersio, Alma; brother, Ross (Karen) Tugwell, Linacy; uncle, Alex (Linda) Niven, Westville; step-mother, Hazel Yorke; step-brothers, Roger, Wayne (Irma), Kevin (Krista) and Barry (Pat); friends, Teresa, Joanne and Ray; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Mark.
The family will receive visitors 10 – 10:50 a.m. Friday, June 29 in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Lorne Street Cemetery.
