Obituary of Paul Ivan Jeans
TRENTON – Paul Ivan Jeans Sr., 55, Trenton, passed away suddenly, Saturday, March 21, 2009.
Born in Trenton, he was a son of the late Elliot and Winnifred (Sponagle) Jeans. He was a conscientious worker having been employed at Michelin Tire, Granton for the past 30 years. Paul was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who cherished his four grandchildren. He was a wonderful brother, uncle and a good friend to all. He was usually accompanied by his golden retriever, Angel.
Paul is survived by his best friend and soul mate, the love of his life and wife of 31 years, Cindy (Stewart); daughter, Crystal (Chris Cholmondeley), Thorburn; son, Paul Jr., Trenton; grandchildren, Connor, Chelsea and Hailey Jeans; Abigail Cholmondeley; “daughter at heart”, Holly Priest; sisters, Janet (Cecil) Fenton, Linacy; Rose (Stanley) Malloy, Trenton; Theresa (Earl) Barss, New Glasgow; Shelia (Leonard) Burge, Audrey (William) Azzarello, Florida; brother, Elliot “Jerry” Jeans, New Glasgow; brothers-in-law, Bruce Parsons and David Connolly; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Sharon Parsons and Marie Connolly; brother, Charlie Jeans.
The family will receive visitors 7-9 p.m. Tuesday , March 24th and 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday March 25th in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday , March 26th in the chapel with Mr. Fergie MacKay officiating.
